Kent House, Brook Street, Mousehole
In addition to the gallery at Sennen Cove, we have a holiday cottage available to rent in the ancient fishing village of Mousehole. This three bedroom character cottage is almost as quirky as the Roundhouse. It sleeps 5 (two doubles and a single) and is set in the heart of the village with its picturesque harbour loved by painters, photographers and visitors alike.
The cottage, which includes an unusually secluded private garden, is well positioned to experience the evocative atmosphere and history of the surroundings.
Private Garden
Retaining many of its 'old world' original features, the simplicity of the cottage is delightful. Beamed ceilings and ancient wood panelled walls painted in soft hues create a timeless backdrop for its traditional furnishings. Both the lounge and dining room are cosy and welcoming.
Dining Room
A low, part glazed door leads out from the well-equipped galley kitchen to the cottage's hidden treasure - a lovely walled garden that is an absolute sun trap for much of the day. A rarity indeed in this tightly packed village, it offers a very private setting for peaceful relaxation or al fresco eating in the dining loggia. There is also a newly refurbished games annexe off the garden, and an outside shower to rinse off the nearby beach.
