Glyn WaltonGlyn studied sculpture at Central School of Art in London 1970 -73. Originally from the North East, he now splits his time between London and St. Ives where he has a studio/workshop. He works in a mixture of mild steel and wood, incorporating other recycled ephemera in his sculptures which range in size from miniature to large scale garden pieces.
The mild steel abstracts relate to feelings of shape, space, balance and movement, and are oiled, imbuing them with a russet tinge that gives warmth to the metal and an engaging patina.
Glyn is a member of the Penwith Society of Arts in Cornwall.
